The following ten days, I'm gonna to have a solitary retreat for my qualifying exam. 
After almost 7 month studying, those piles of articles have made me feel like vomiting, especially every time when I have to dig out articles for an answer or references ...
Gee...., can you imagine if someone feeds you the same kind of stuff every day  24 hours a day  for 7 months, even if you really feel sick of it? 
At this very moment, I feel just the same way!!
This day finally comes...

With my qualifying exam is approaching, my personality has gone far away from whom I was used to be.   Recently, I go shopping as if I was born in a millenary family and I eat like a cow as if I had a devil's figure . Unfortunately, my sleeping quality doesn’t go with my appetite and shopping desire. It is on and off; if one night is bad, then another night compensatorily gets better.   Be honest, I'm not a cooking person. To me, cooking is conditional that depends on my mood and studying load (luckily that I'm not a housewife now  ). To my surprise, this afternoon, my feet and hands involuntarily moved to the kitchen and started to do something which obviously doesn't appear to be one of my plans today.  
I.....must be out of my mind!! Well, here comes the result.  
This dish is called "Duk-Bo-Ki" in Korean, literally translated as "Fried rice cake (炒年糕)" in English (Chinese). This is a very common dish in Korea. If you are a huge fan of Korean series, you wouldn't feel unfamiliar with it.   I learn this dish from my Korean friend, DK, who is going to be a very promising movie director in the nearly future (he claims himself this way, and I have confidence with him  ). 
The recipe and procedures are as following: 
1. garlic: 1.5 spoons 
2. sugar: 3 spoons 
3. Korean spicy paste: 3 spoons 
4. green Onion: 1 
5. scallion 
6. rice cake 
7. veggie, fish cake (optional)

I did this quiz several days ago, and the result came out to be very interesting to me.
To me, a word just popped up right after I read this result, "PICKY" !!
I wouldn't argue this when people say to me that I'm kinda picky in some ways. I don’t doubt it; I admit it instead.
Somehow I feel good to be crowned as a picky person. As I often tell my friends that I'm more like a Virgo, though I do possess some ways to look like a Leo, of course, in good ways..  :)

 Okay, I'm a Virgo-ized Leo. (it’s good that this contradictory personality has been solved smartly by this invented term. …:)    )

If you have seen the movie "Little Buddha", you would find this term, "Heart Sutra" sounding very familiar..
This movie is one of my favorite ones. It touchs me a lot, especially when Lama Norbu was teaching this sutra to those three little buddhas "spiritually"...
As it is said in the movie, Heart Sutra is the most beautiful prayer...
It seems not easy to understanding the meaning that it conveys just by reading it in Chinese. I found it is much easier to understand its meaning when it is literally translated into English...

最近心情太浮躁，週末時猛看朋友給我的影片，「康熙來了」。
早就聽說康熙來了好像在台灣收視率很好
不過，在這邊的我，卻從來沒看過
真是落伍～我這段時間「練」了好幾集
有幾集真的很好笑
笑到我眼淚都流出來了

I feel restless recently. I can feel that my mind is agitated and getting impulsive. I can feel myself impatient and rush for everything. I even can feel it from my pace of walking. I cannot stop being anxious. My heart is beating so fast and heavily. All of the sudden, I seem to look everything and every people around me with hatred…
Gee… I need to stop myself doing this, hurting my mind and my soul… 
" Don’t let your feeling lead your mind !!! "This line came across to my mind while I was try to mediate on the way backing home.
Yes, I need to stop letting my feeling control my mind. I need to segregate my mind from this restless feeling…
Medating, Medating, Medating....

The weather report on TV has been predicting that today is going to have the first snow. I was thinking, “what nonsense is this? No way! It’s still too early to snow…” Last night, I intendedly opened the window to check out the weather outside in a way of measuring the moisture by a 15-story height from the ground. Yeah, No doubt! I live in a penthouse on campus. I always joke this to myself as a little compensation for this boring life here. This morning, the weather from my widow looks….well, fine. Although sun doesn’t show up, the sky is bright enough to be claimed it as a fair day. Before I was about to dress up for school, I suspiciously got online to check the weather again. Still, it says “85% snow shower in the afternoon….” All right, I don’t want to get sick just because I don’t buy the modern technology of weather prediction. I decided to have a coat with me, just………in case. Gee, I can’t believe of what I see. It is really snowing, though it is not snow flake but only snow ice, still, it’s snowing!! As I can see the white spot is getting larger and almost turning to be flake-like.  I can’t help but showing a bit of grinning on my face.  Am I expecting the coming of snow? I don’t know exactly. It is a kinda complicate question. I like snow, though. It makes the environment look romantic, especially during the holiday season. All streets and trees were decorated by sparking-twinkling lights against the background of white snow. I can wear several layers of clothes under my favorite heavy coat, no matter it is wool long coat or down-goose jacket.  With scarf and wool hot, I can wrap myself like a bear, joltily walking on the snow. I can also leave my trace of footprint, like Big Foot Harly. On the other hand, however, snowing day increases the difficulty and hazardousness of driving. And it makes me feel freezing and do not want to go outdoor. Then, like a vicious circle, as time goes by, I would become a couch potato, a big lazy bug keeping staying at home. So, it's not easy to assertively answer if I like snow.Well, thinking back to those disliking points, it seems not too bad about being a lazy bug, doesn't it?
 I still like snow!!

收到哥哥寄來的滿月照片，便迫不及待想PO上網誌
記錄HIPO的成長史。
看到HIPO禮盒，還是覺得台灣好。
這麼可愛又精緻的彌月禮盒，在美國很難找到。
要不，隨便這樣的一個禮盒，至少也要15元美金。
問哥哥一盒的價位，折合美金，竟然才6元美金。
聽了下巴差點掉下來～
還是寶島台灣好！
整套的，真不錯！！
看了好想吃喔～
關於這兩顆紅蛋，我問了哥哥，為何要放2顆？一顆不就好了，或是3顆更好啊？因為俗語說「無3不成禮」。哥哥說依照習俗，非得要兩顆不可。理由是......「男生不都有兩顆？」
這是真的還是假的啊？想不到習俗還那麼寫實唷～
