星期六的晚上，在網路上碰到以前台灣的advisor。
He sent me a link and introduced me a new concept of so-called "Internet revolution!!" ......

He told me that he recently begins to reflect on his own life...and he is now doing biosemiotics and beginning to think about ecolinguistics....

Then we started to chat about our recent life for a cpuple of hours...

His words inspire me a lot and sometimes just hit onto the right spot of my inner self. So, I decided to quote parts of his lines during our conversation here to remind myself from time to time and motivate myself whenever I feel down. 
I'm so lucky to have a teacher like him, a life-long teacher...!!

# Life does not always go well and stydying is not everything

# but we have to learn life long. The matter is only learning what.

# A personal career is up to you; marriage and family life is a matter of luck

# Do things that you will be happy to devote to

# As long as you are honest to yourself, you will someday find your way.

# Receiving academic training does not mean you have to stay in the academic field

# Determination and motivation are important, especially in critical time

# You had better do not start something new just because you want to run away from something.

# When you learn something thoroughly, then you do not have to repeat in the next life.

#  You are a very smart girl   (I'm so mativated by his praise..!!  )

# Gee, girl! your English is still aweful when you get excited...(only he knows me thus well... )

After chatting with my advisor, I feel much more confident and somehow find back the motivation I was used to have and feel ready to step on...

Just as he said to me " Ups and downs are normal in life," 
I followed him and said " enjoy the peak and prepare for the vally" to make his line complete...!
